Product Description:
Evolving through the decades the Annapurna has been a constant in Mountain Equipment’s range since the 1970’s. A pinnacle benchmark in warmth and protection for high altitude and Polar use as well as for camera crews, military personnel and anyone forced to spend prolonged time at extremely low temperatures.
Featuring a full box wall construction, it’s significantly warmer than jackets with stitch-through baffles like the Lightline. The Annapurna offers a slight increase in weight and bulk but as temperatures dip below -10C and beyond can offer more than worthwhile trade-off. Equipped with 388g of high-quality down that provides exceptional warmth with the down controlled by baffles optimised across the jacket for the best loft possible. Further supported by panels of synthetic POLARLOFTⓇ insulation across the front of the body, lower sleeves and shoulders – these not only fight compression but also battle the ingress of damp during the most intense use.
The Drilite Ⓡ Loft outer shell is entirely windproof and highly weather resistant whilst still sufficiently breathable to prevent moisture build-up during extended use. The chunky, moulded zips are used throughout this essential jacket for ease of use with gloves and large internal pockets to stop water bottles and spare mitts from freezing.
